Hey all. So yeah, it’s been a while but I’m back. I took a break to get my Robot Envy Kickstarter project going, and I am wrapping that up very soon! But catching up some newly released work, here is a Hollywood Casio spot I worked on at Leviathan with Art Director Sam Gierasimczuk. As always it was fun to work on with a team of cool people. ROBOT ENVY

For those of you who may or may not know, I launched a Kickstarter project called Robot Envy. It is a personal project in which I’d like to share my robot drawings and sketches with you through a specialty book. This isn’t just another sketchbook, it is also a package design project that is super cool. So please pledge if you can, there are some great rewards and prize give aways. There is ONLY 7 days left. The project is “all or nothing,” which means if I do not make 100% of the project goal, the project is done.

Now I understand that not everyone loves or cares about robots. The overall goal here is to support an individuals idea. We all have ideas, but how many ideas do we actually set out to execute, or even see it through? This is the idea behind kickstarter-help make your idea a reality. If you have ideas, I urge you to see them through. You never know what might happen, but I will help support it- because it takes a lot of energy to just TRY. Free Photoshop Tutorial: Digital Painting, Light & Reflections

Welcome back for another Photoshop CS5 Tutorial. This time I had to bust out a bunch of Photoshop rendered illustrations for some toy packaging. Several people were interested in the process, so watch and learn this technique to 1up your skills! It’s about 15 minutes and packed with savory goodness! Anyway, I worked with my friend Tony Maldonado on this job, and it was super fun! Tony drew the flats in Illustrator, and sent them to me to paint up some magic. Check out the characters we did below. Also here are some links to Tonys work, he’s got some GREAT character art! Enjoy!
